Mood: Feeling happy but a little annoyed

Still working on the code of this website, had to take a break for a while, but I got the gallery and now the journal page somewhat filled- well I technically don't have the journal page filled yet but thats what I'm doing right now by typing it. You get what I mean. I don't know how to make this look more like individual posts and not just one big long text box yet but I'm tired lol. I just spent like an hour trying to make the header image be centered and idk why it isnt but I'm just going to keep it how it is for now. I need to focus on getting the projects page and contacts page filled because I think those are probably the most important other than the gallery. Oh also there's a weird issue with the Astamon shrine on my pets & shrines page- its not supposed to be off to the side- it used to be working fine then like last week it just suddenly stopped working after I edited code that had literally nothing to do with that page and even after I tried deleting said added code so it would hopefully go back to how it was its still off :v so I do also need to figure out how to re-align that or why it stopped being aligned in the first place.

I have been excersizing a bit more regularly and trying to keep up on hydration so physical health wise I'm doing mostly okay. I still got a wonky sleep schedule but been trying to work on fixing that and hopefully Z can wake me up in the morning and help me stay awake so I can get that regulated. Currently writing this at 5am.

I'm also currently looking a lot into eco friendly lifestyles stuff and like- just in general being more thoughtful about waste and such? Highly reccomend a channel called Stay Tuned To Our Planet / STTOP. I discovered it because its hosted by Matthew Mckenna but I just in general have been thinking about this stuff for probably over a year and doing barely anything about it- until now. I'm not going all wild buying bamboo everything- that'd just be even more wasteful lol- but for the past month or so I've been carrying a spare set of cutlery + metal straw. Actually just genuinely more convienient than having to go up to grab extra stuff when I'm at places lmao. I mean I also use like ecosia as my main search engine for years so probably have made somewhat of a difference indirectly. Which if you dk ecosia its a search engine (think of like google or bing-) that based on how much you search for things the team plants trees- btw not sponsored or anything I jsut wanted to share what I'm up to. I do have more about different things I use (all non-affiliated/non-sponsored) in my resources page here.

Along with all the eco life stuff, part of "cultivating my life" has been trying to degoogle my digital experience and mostly use FOSS alternatives to things. I'm on linux so I kinda have to use some of these foss programs anyway- like Krita instead of making art on photoshop since adobe stuff just straight up doesn't work on linux. Often I find this stuff is just genuinely either as good as or better than the alternative lol. Like Firefox (tho I use Zen browser its firefox-based) is just better than chrome and less invasive feeling.

Mostly unrelated but still part of the digital arc of my life cultivation has been being more active in the indieweb- which includes this very neocities website here! I also have been trying to frquent forums more, although its hard to be really active on them as much, and reading a lot more random webcomics online- currently reading Unicorn Jelly (https://unicornjelly.com)- its a real cute comic from like 2003-ish and some real pretty art- especially when they get into the worldbuilding. I found it just browsing lists of early internet webcomics but if anyone has reccomendations for ongoing / more recent but underrated comics let me know!
